  We offer RV delivery services around the world. Our ability to provide RV towing and trailer shipping no matter where you’re located allows us to provide you with a level of service unmatched in the RV trailer industry. If you have a trade in, it can be picked up at the same time and returned to the dealership for a fee of $.99 per loaded mile.

Canada RV Delivery Service

We deliver anywhere in Canada via "Portal" crossings between the USA & Canada.

We charge $1.10-$1.30 per loaded mile one way in the USA and $1.30 per mile in Canada based on current gas prices.

A bonded delivery service and insurance is provided on the RV until the customer takes delivery.

Trade in's can be picked up at the time of delivery and returned to the dealership for a fee of $.99 per loaded mile in Canada and the USA.

To save money, the customer can take delivery of the RV on the USA side of the border. This saves the cost of a border crossing agent, which can be estimated at $500. The customer can take the RV across the United States and Canadian borders, upon entering Canada the GST tax and Canadian Tire Inspection Fee ($195.00) must be paid. . We provide all of the necessary paperwork needed to cross the border through Customs. The following would be needed:

1. Bill of Sale
2. MSO
3. Recall Clearance Letter
4. Nafta Letter (Mfg in US)

  If the RV towing company delivers in Canada, the customer will have to arrange for a Border Crossing agent to prepare the necessary paperwork to take the RV across the border and pay the necessary GST tax. Before calling the Border Agency, call Canadian Customs at 403-344-3772. Record the agent’s name for future reference and they will tell you exactly what is needed to bring the trailer across the border.

 The truck driver stops at the Border Crossing Agency, on the US side of the border. The Border Crossing Agency provides the truck driver with a packet, containing all the documents needed for the Truck Driver to take the RV across the border. The Customer pays the Border Crossing Agency for "Services Rendered" including the GST. The customer is required to have a copy of Form 1 from the delivery driver to show that all necessary taxes and fees have been paid.

  The Registrar of Imported Vehicles will not issue a federal inspection form or any specific modification information for a vehicle with an unpaid file. The compliance status of every vehicle entering Canada through the RIV system is shared with all provincial and territorial licensing jurisdictions. Non compliance with the Motor Vehicle Safety Act may result in a refusal to license, or a revocation of an existing registration.

You’re Requirements at Border:

Produce your title documents, registration and sales receipt.

Complete Vehicle Import Form-Form I, which Canada Border Services Agency provides. Form1 must be kept in the vehicle until it is licensed. Also, this requires a Canadian mailing address.

Canada Border Services Agency will need to:

Check Canada’s Transport Vehicles Admissible from the United States.

Verify the public VIN and Manufacturer's Statement of Compliance label on the vehicle to make sure they match.

Collect from you your non refundable Registrar of Imported Vehicles' fee of $195.00 + GST in all provinces except Quebec where it is $195.00 + GST and QST. Payment for the RIV can be made with any major credit card. Cash or schedules are not accepted by the Canada Border Services Agency. To pay by check or money order, you must mail it to the Registrar of Imported Vehicles’ in the envelope they provide.

What to do after the vehicle enters Canada

After payment and the recall clearance documentation have been received by the Registrar of Imported Vehicles an Inspection Form will be mailed which details what must be done to bring your vehicle into compliance.

It is your responsibility to complete the necessary modifications within 45 days. You may have the modifications done by the mechanic or garage of your choice. However, we recommend that you contact the Original Equipment Manufacturer to discuss appropriate parts or warranty issues. Make sure you keep receipts for parts and labor, to present at the inspection, along with Form 1, Form 2 and the recall clearance letter.

The RIV has contracted with Canadian Tire, with 470 locations across Canada, to perform our federal inspections. In many cases, Canadian Tire can perform certain modification work, as well as performing the provincial inspection.

When you pass the inspection, the inspection centre will stamp your Form 1, that you will have to present to the provincial or territorial licensing authority, which may require additional testing.

Within approximately one week of passing the federal inspection, we will send you a new Canadian Certification label with instructions on where to affix it to your vehicle.

If the vehicle fails the inspection, you'll have to pay additional charges for another inspection. If the vehicle cannot pass the inspection within the 45 days, it will have to be exported back to the United States.

Registrar of Imported Vehicle fees

 

The fees for the RIV program are:

1. Vehicles entering the RIV program with a form 1
   $195.00 + GST and QST for vehicles entering through a port in Quebec
   $195.00 + GST for vehicles entering through a port in any other province
    
2. Vehicles entering the RIV program with a form 3 (parts)
   $70.00 + GST and QST for vehicles entering through a port in Quebec
   $70.00 + GST for vehicles entering through a port in any other province
    
3. Reactivation fees for suspended files
   $52.50 for all ports excluding Quebec
   $56.44 for all Quebec ports

The methods of payment have not changed.   There are still 4 ways to pay:

1. On-line payment (Visa or Master Card)
2. Cheque or Money Order to be mailed along with your form to:

·         We can deliver to any "Port City" in the continental USA at the customer's convenience.

·         We use "MAPQUEST" to determine the distance from the dealership to the "Port City" where the Customer's Over sea's Freight Agent takes delivery.

·         We use a bonded delivery service and provide insurance on the RV until the Customer's Over Sea Freight Agent takes delivery.

·         After the "Quote" is accepted, these agents will schedule space on a ship, reserve any containers, "Flat Racks" needed for the shipment and schedule where and when the RV needs to be delivered to the port to meet the preparation schedule and the loading schedule to meet the "Departure" date of the ship.
